So I've recently gotten into this game isabelle is the most adorable character ever and I thought it would be cool to share some towns.
I haven't played very far so I don't really know the mechanics behind visiting other towns but I'm guessing we'd need to exchange friend codes? Mine is Opening Soon!
Eat at Big Joes! Me and my bro share a copy of the game. I am not far in the game yet though. Yes, I'd love to visit some of you guys. I already have you Doors, but for those who want to add me, here ya go: - - The player takes on the role of mayor of a new townand with the help of the townsfolk and Isabellean eager secretary, it will be their job to make the town a better place to live.
Compared to previous installments, New Leaf' s aesthetics are more realistic, with more human-proportioned characters and more realistic flora. On November 2 nd, an updated version of the game, Welcome amiibowas released. This update can be applied to the original New Leaf through the Nintendo eShop.
All newly published copies of New Leaf contain the Welcome amiibo update pre-installed, which is signified by a banner under the logo on the front cover of the case. The game was originally unveiled at E3though very little was shown.
A trailer was shown featuring updated features, and few new features. Shortly after, there was news that the player could be the mayor of the town, with the goal being to make the town a better place to live. A non-playable demo was also available on the show floor at Nintendo's booth as an example of 3D effects.
At E3 during Nintendo's press conference, the Animal Crossing logo among others, appeared on-screen as a list of upcoming 3DS games. Additionally, a new trailer was released.
The trailer showed off a new feature in the game: swimming and diving in the ocean. A player was shown changing not only his shirt, but also his shoes and pants. A player was also shown coming out of what appeared to be his tent-house. Throughout the town, benches and a beehive were shown, with a villager and later a player sitting on the bench. Isabelle was also introduced as the 'eager secretary' that helps the player throughout the game. It allows non-resident villagers to visit, who can then be encouraged to move in.
Returning features include bridges or return of the island. New features include benches for villagers and the player to sit on. Player characters are taller than previous installments, allowing for customization of pants, shorts, and skirts purchased from the Able Sisters shop. Shoes and socks can also be purchased from the Kicks store in different colors and varieties.
Villagers are now more diverse. Not only are there new characters, bringing the total up tobut also new hamster and deer species. Two new personalities have been introduced: smug and sisterly. Villagers that have moved out can also visit the Main Street. Villagers can move in by winning a game or agreeing to move in when they are camping or from an RV. Each personality of villagers now has their own pitch of Animalese, before the variants were limited to male, female, and cranky male.
The pitch of normal and lazy villagers sound very similar to the generic male and female voices in previous games.
Peppy villagers use the voice that was once reserved for the female villagers' voice in WW. Likewise, jock villagers sound like lazy villagers, but are a bit high-pitched. Snooty villagers use the voice that was once reserved for Joan.
Cranky villagers sound like they've always been. Smug villagers sound like Lazy villagers, but slightly low-pitched. Sisterly villagers sound like Snooty villagers, but a bit higher-pitched.
The player can sneak up on bugs with the neta returning feature from the Nintendo GameCube games. It is now possible to store bugs and fish in closets and dressers.A list of little-known facts, tips and tricks in the Animal Crossing series. In Animal Crossingit's possible to change the pattern displayed in the inventory background. To do this, drag a shirt from the player's pocket to the bottom right of the inventory space.
Main Street (New Leaf)
This will change the background to match the new shirt's pattern. The default pattern is from the Big Dot Shirt. For a short period of time after being hit with a net, villagers are able to pass over invisible barriers. This allows them to be pushed into all bodies of water as well as over holes and even onto houses. Any items attached to letters saved by the player at the Post Office will not be deleted when a player chooses to delete their town.
This makes the process of deleting and restarting Animal Crossing much easier, as it allows the player to keep any items they wish to carry over to their new town. If the player has a fruit that they really want to grow, they can chop down an existing tree, uproot the stump, then plant the desired fruit.
So long as the fruit is not planted next to an existing tree, the planted tree is guaranteed to grow. This technique also works to grow money trees, although it doesn't guarantee that it will have Bells. Remember that coconuts must be planted in an F acre and that pine trees only grow in an A or B acre.
Any turnips left in the player's island bungalow will not spoil so long as the player does not copy island data to the GBA on the way back to the mainland. The island home can store up to 64 turnips.
This can be accomplished by placing turnips in places where NPCs will move in on top of them e. If a sign board is placed just right one space to the right, two in front of a signpost prior to Gracie's arrival, she will appear on top of it. The player will not be able to interact with her until the signboard is removed, at which time she will fall to the ground and function normally. This trick requires two memory cards, one with existing Animal Crossing town data and another with space available for travel data.
This trick will make a playable character's face resemble a gyroid.
Guide:Easter Eggs, Glitches, and Secrets
It will return to normal the next time the game is loaded. It can be found in the upper-most area of the Town, in front of the Happy Home Showcase and north of the Train Stationacross the tracks. The game loads the area when the player has walked up the stairs, similar to when entering a building, briefly showing a loading screen. It is divided into two, with Happy Home Showcase in the middle.
It offers a variety of different stores and can be upgraded through the mayors duties in the Town Hall. To the south is the villagewhere the player and the villagers live in their houses.
During the first days the player begins the game, there are only a small number of buildings available.
To the left are the Post Office and Nook's Homes. The Museum 's location will always be opposite of the town's ocean, and may vary from town to town. It will always be on the farthest left or right side of Main Street. Nookling Junction is one of the few stores open at the start of the game.
It is owned by Timmy and Tommywho have taken over the Nook franchise from Tom Nook in previous games. It can be upgraded 4 times, during which it will sell a variety of different products and change its appearance throughout the course of the game. The player has a limited choice of items to buy from the store.
As it expands, its item variety will increase and continue to change daily.
The number of tools three and kinds of tools adding the timer and slingshot will also increase, and players will be able to buy wallpapers and floors. The Post Office is a returning building in the franchise that was last seen in Animal Crossing. The player can use the Post Office to send letters, and they can also save letters received from other villagers or players who have sent the player letters in the player's village. When Pete makes his delivery rounds around the townif SpotPass is activated, players can also receive in-game items from Nintendo promotions.
An Automatic Bell Dispenser in the corner of the office allows the player to repay home loans from Tom Nook, as well as manage their bank account. It is located on the eastern side, next to Nookling Junction and the subsequent Nookling store upgrades.
In the main area of the store, the player can buy clothes as well as obtain, display, and create designs they can use to customize their clothes, furniturehouseand other items. While creating normal designs is free, the player must pay Mabel Bells to access the more complex, PRO designs.
Speaking to Mabel will also allow the player to save designs. Speaking to Sable many times will allow the player to create QR codes for their designs. Labelle runs the accessories wing, which is accessible from the outside through the right-hand door, or by walking through the hallway from indoors. Once the right conditions have been met, Kicks will be built on to the right of Able Sisters, and Shampoodle will open above the store.
Nook's Homes is a new building in the Animal Crossing series. It is run by Tom Nookwho assists the player in customizing their house through renovating it with new exterior features or by expanding it. Lyle also works here, and is now in charge of the renamed Happy Home Academya duty he previously held in City Folk.
The player can choose from a variety of different external features to customize their home, which has expanded greatly from previous installments. If the player has not chosen to expand their home for the day, they have the option to customize the following:. The Museum serves a similar purpose as in previous game, and it is the only building on Main Street that can be found in one of two locations.
It can be located on either the farthest right or left end of the main row of buildings. It is run by Blathersto whom the player can donate the fishbugspaintingsand fossilsthat will be displayed in their appropriate exhibition halls. The aquarium is significantly larger, having been split into three rooms for saltwater, freshwater, and underwater sea creatures. What's that ringing sound in Animal Crossing: New Leaf?
It's a Mole Cricket hiding underground. Unfortunately, it's hard to pinpoint the precise location of the Mole Cricket. Walk to where the ringing call is the loudest and then begin to dig with the Shovel -- but you'll want to keep your Bug Net as a single D-pad press away. To do this, either rearrange your pockets or only take a Bug Net and Shovel with you.
This way, you can dig a hole, expose the Mole Cricket, tap the D-pad to switch to your Bug Net and nab it as it slowly runs away. You will likely have to dig a lot of holes, so fill some in and keep a path to follow the Mole Cricket as it escapes. Last Edited: 4 Nov pm. Was this guide helpful? YES NO. In This Wiki Guide. Rated "E". Developer Nintendo. Table of Contents. November - MayAll Day. I caught a mole cricket!
And I didn't even have to reset! Mole crickets live underground in tunnels they dig themselves, moving freely through the soil. Their forelimbs resemble those of moles and are very sutiable for the task of digging. They have large wings that allow them to flybut they can also swim if the need arises. In the past, people used to think the noise they made underground was actually coming from worms. You can skip Kapp'n 's long song on the way to the Tropical Island by tapping the touch screen repeatedly or hitting the B button.
Kapp'n will stop singing, admonish your impatience and then take you directly to the island. If you'd like to shake trees in peace without the worry of a volatile swarm of bees chasing you and leaving you with a swollen eye after being stung with a terrible wrenching metalic sound, simply open your town's gate.
Can't get to a Best Buy location to download the exclusive items? Download it from the comfort of your home instead! If a neighbor of yours has a piece of furniture you want, you can get it by sending them seashells. They will begin replacing their furniture with the shells and their furniture will appear at re-tail for purchase.
Make sure there are empty flea -market spaces, though. You can change the time and date in your town on the New Leaf main menu screen before you enter your village. You can change the date and time to manipulate what Bugs and Fish are available, make Bells by appreciating your bank deposits over the new year lapse You recieve interest returns in your bank accountor skip ahead to force house expansions. Time Traveling is technically cheating, but people still exploit it to get ahead in the game.
You need two players both with Animal Crossing, one has to have a really strong price for turnips like bells in their game to be honest any price will do but this makes it quicker and the other time travels by setting the 3DS clock to sunday morning.
Now simply buy in the town that's on sunday and go and visit the friend's town and sell there and repeat with new money that you just got from the selling the turnips at like 5 times their normal value and you have a quick method of making huge amounts of bell. Have fun being a bellionaire.
They are NOT easy to get rid of. It can also take the fun out of the game, but that's up to the player. Each day in your town one rock contains Bells which you can liberate with a well-placed Shovel strike. The more you hit the rock, the more Bells you get. To maximize the amount of Bells you get, find a rock stand next to it.
Dig holes to the rear and either side of your character. Better yet, plant Bushes for a more permanent solution. Either method will trap you alongside the rock, and cancel the "push back" effect of your shovel strike. This allows you to rapidly hit the rock and make more money. Depending on what kind of tool at the time your shovel will have a different effect. You can make most of your money by selling rare and valuable items from FossilsFishBugsand other items.
